Highlights:
Enumclaw enters the 2007-08 season with high expectations as they return eight seniors from a team that went undefeated in league play last year.
The strength of the team will be in the Hornet’s guard play. They will be led by Julian Fernandez, a transfer from Cuba who led the team in scoring and assists last season and was the league MVP and C.J. Fitzpatrick who can knock down the long range shot.
The Hornets play an up-tempo style of basketball but can also grind it out in the half court. They are predicted to win the S.P.S.L. and advance into Washington’s State Tournament.
Enumclaw is coached by Phil Engebretsen whose record at the school is 53-34. He was named the S.P.S.L. Coach of the Year last season.
